    Overview Key factsThe Department of Accounting offered by the Stellenbosch University, which gives you the Accountancy programme, recently became the School of Accountancy. While mainly specialising in the training of professional accountants, we are also actively involved in research and other community services. The outstanding results of students writing professional examinations, after obtaining their degree at the School, underlines the motto of quality training in a productive and relaxed environment.What we offerA CA can work inter alia:As an auditor and/or accountant for an auditing firm and is responsible for inter aliaAs an accountant in commerce and industry, (e.g. the financial or mining sector) performing a range of duties As an independent consultant in areas including management advice, tax advice and advice regarding information technologyAs an independent businessman/womanMultiple career opportunities exist. A chartered accountant is in huge demand, not only in South Africa but worldwide. Auditing firms are some of the major employers of CA's. Some of the bigger auditing firms are Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. I want to find another Bachelor Course
