Overview The students in the Master in Applied Gerontology at Universidade de Aveiro may have different backgrounds: some will have a degree in gerontology, aiming to deep their studies in the same area; while others have degrees in diverse areas (such as: nursing, psychology, social work, education) and want to procced in the field of gerontology. Employment is usually in: services supporting old persons (such as, day care)services that aim to promote active ageingand community services that support the population in general.This programme aims to:Apply knowledge to solve challenges or constraints associated to the current trends of demographic ageing;Develop and apply knowledge in professional practice and research in Gerontology;Update and extend professional skills acquired in pre-graduation within the context of Gerontology;Develop knowledge and skills to facilitate interdisciplinary team work and institutional partnerships;Develop knowledge and skills to implement interventions aiming to promote active ageing from a life course perspective and, particularly, in advanced age;Develop communication and applied skills of research findings;Extend and develop skills for autonomous learning.

This master course in Applied Gerontology at Universidade de Aveiro aims to extend knowledge for an interdisciplinary and integrated understanding of the human aging process in its different dimensions.

1درجة مستوى Licenciatura أو ما يعادلها قانونيًا في علم الشيخوخة والسلوك والعلوم الاجتماعية والعلوم الصحية وعلوم التربية وعلوم الرياضة والمجالات ذات الصلة. درجة التعليم العالي الأجنبية في علم الشيخوخة والسلوك والعلوم الاجتماعية والعلوم الصحية وعلوم التربية وعلوم الرياضة والمجالات ذات الصلة الممنوحة على إكمال برنامج الدراسة للدورة الأولى المنظم وفقًا لمبادئ عملية بولونيا من قبل دولة تلتزم بهذه العملية. درجة التعليم العالي الأجنبية في علم الشيخوخة والسلوك والعلوم الاجتماعية والعلوم الصحية وعلوم التربية وعلوم الرياضة والمجالات ذات الصلة المعترف بها على أنها تحقق أهداف درجة الليسانس من قبل الهيئة المختصة علميًا وقانونيًا.
