Economics is about choice and the impact of our choices on each other. It relates to every aspect of our lives, from the decisions we make as individuals or families to the structures created by governments and firms. The economic way of thinking can help us make better choices. Economics program is offered pairing with subjects including Sociology, Management, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Education and Business Languages.This Economics program at COMSATS University Islamabad aims to produce quality graduates with control over economic theory and applied economics. The graduates would be able to get a leadership position in government sector as well as in the private sector. The program also aims to develop the abilities in its graduates to criticize and practically handle the real world economic issues and give innovative ideas and policies. The program focuses on providing quality teaching and research in accordance with international standards.Special Features and ObjectivesThe study of economics provides a good background for careers in business and government. It develops quantitative and analytical skills which are applicable to many jobs. Some of the key objectives of this degree are:Preparing a graduate who can participate more productively in the progressively knowledge-based and interdependent global economy.Better understanding of the objectives, methods and limitations of government economic policies.Practical understanding on writing research essays, effective and critical reading, data collection and presentation, statistical interpretation and much more.To develop good skills over statistical and econometrics software to enhance the research abilities I want to find another Bachelor Course
