Anyone wishing to take up another course of study with a bachelor's degree, state examination or doctorate, applies in 3 steps (this also applies if an assessment test of the preparatory college is necessary or has already been passed):

 

1. Enter data in the online form (see below)
2. Print out the PDF (for NC-free courses, please click on "Application for Enrollment"), fill in and sign this "Application for Admission"
3. Submit this

-> Application for admission (in due time and in due form - information sheet )
    together with
-> the certificates ,
-> a notification about the preliminary examination of these certificates ,
-> the necessary proof of German (also applies to German citizens)

-> a copy of your passport
-> and a curriculum vitae

• The application and all the necessary documents must be received by the University of Augsburg by July 31 at the latest .
• For courses with an NC (admission restriction), this is a deadline . Until then, a recognized German language test at the required level must also be submitted!
• For courses in  English  , an aptitude assessment procedure (EFV) must be completed; this will be canceled in the winter semester 2021/22, a study orientation process may take place. You will find more information here from the end of May.
• Applications for courses without NC (without admission restrictions) and without EFV (aptitude assessment procedure) can be submitted by mid-September if you can prove that you have passed a recognized German language test at the required level by then.
   

For the following courses of study, you must register with Hochschulstart (Foundation for University Admission in Dortmund) register (from June 1, 2021) and receive the BID and BAN for the online application in our portal:

• Medical Informatics (Bachelor of Science)
• Law (First State Examination in Law)

• Business Informatics (Bachelor of Science)
