    Overview This Bachelor in Industrial Technology and Economic Analysis at Pompeu Fabra University, offered jointly by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), is taught entirely in English and aims to meet the need for new industrial leaders with both a solid understanding of innovation and technology and detailed knowledge of economics.Career prospectsGraduates will be qualified to practise the regulated profession of industrial engineer by completing a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (ESEIAAT, ETSEIB).This bachelor’s degree programme is part of an integrated bachelor’s and master’s degree programme that qualifies graduates to practise regulated professions. It also offers the necessary training to pursue advanced studies in economics.Supervision and management of projects, facilities, plants, businesses and technology centres in a range of industrial sectors, including: energy; iron, steel and metallurgy; chemicals; robotics; the automotive and rail industries; metal, mechanical and electrical construction; smart materials; nanotechnology; and bioengineering, among others.Calculation and design of products and processes that have an impact on the economic situation, business sector, market and business activities.Strategic planning, micro- and macroeconomics, quality management and environmental management.Research, development and innovation in products, processes and methodologies and the associated implications for managementLeadership and management of changing economic environments.Economics and management of businesses in regulated sectors and network services.
