    Overview The Mathematics program at Qatar University is of an interdisciplinary nature, as it is structured to offer a broad based set of core courses, focus/general/free electives from a wide range of multidisciplinary courses coupled with the requirement for a Minor involved 24 credits. Learning outcomesOn top of this, the curriculum maintains a balance between theory and applications, keeping in view the latest trends of the job market. This versatility equips our graduates with capabilities of working in diverse areas like financial sectors, industry, business, education, and government or commercial organizations.     The Mathematics Program at Qatar University has an ongoing commitment to both research and teaching, and particularly aims to impart high quality instruction to both mathematics major students and those students from other disciplines which requires mathematics courses. It offers a B.Sc. in Mathematics with focus in Actuarial Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.
