Overview The Mechanical and Automation Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong aims at offering solid education and cutting-edge research opportunities around two aspects Of engineering: the proper physical interaction of engineering systems with the physical world through force, heat, and energy (and hence the word "Mechanical" in the department name); and the self-operability of the systems demanding minimum intervention from humans (and hence the word "Automation").
