    Overview The four-year-curriculum offers basic science courses such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and materials science as well as electrical engineering courses such as static dynamics, digital logic design, electromagnetic theory, circuit theory, mechatronics, signal and image processes; medical courses such as clinical engineering, tissue design and medical device design. Thus, a bridge is formed between the fields of engineering and applied medicine.Career AreasIt is possible for people who complete the Medical Engineering Undergraduate Program to find employment in a wide range of medical technology and industrial facilities, along with hospitals and clinics, and military organizations. Nowadays, the highly qualified people who are needed in multi-disciplinary fields such as medical engineering, are in high demand and find great career opportunities in their fields. Medical engineers can take part in planning, research and application of R & D units of medical technology institutions. The Medical Engineering Program at Cyprus International University aims to raise innovative engineers in the fields of medical products and health technologies, with the ability to use their knowledge, technology and science so they can contribute to closing a gap in this very specific field. Our faculty also aims to educate professionals who are highly qualified and committed to academic work.
