    Overview The Peace and Conflict Studies programme of the University of Oslo combines advanced training in research methods and techniques with practitioner perspectives to equip students for future careers in government, international organizations, or academia. This program is suited for students who wish to combine rigorous analysis with real-world perspectives on some of the most complex challenges facing states and the wider international community.About the Master's Programme in Peace and Conflict StudiesPeace and conflict studies aim at answering a wide range of questions about the causes of conflicts and the conditions for peace. How has warfare changed over time? How does the distribution of power among states affect the likelihood of inter-state war?
