    Overview L'Alma Mater Studiorum Bologna University and Eastern Mediterranean University have a mutual desire to activate the one-year, first level postgraduate program (without thesis requirements) titled “Comparative Legal Systems”. The parties have come to an agreement on the “Joint Program Protocol”. This Comparative Legal Systems (without Thesis) program is unique in legal education and will be of mutual benefit for students of both Institutions. The main objectives of the Joint Master’s Degree; (L.L.M) to encourage innovation and internationalization in the field of law, and to improve the quality and attraction of the Higher Education Area. The proposed program will come forward to make a difference, as one of the modern approaches in the field of legal education, by training students from different countries. Both comparative studies and academic cooperation will be encouraged by the Program, which will act as a point of interest for students in receiving diplomas which shall bear the titles of both Universities.Research InterestsIntroduction to Law, Comparative Nationality Law, Comparative Civil Law, European Competition Law, International Contracts, Principles of European Legal Orders, International Criminal Law, International Law of the Sea, International Test of Legal English Skills (TOLES), International Environmental Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, Comparative Constitutional Judiciary, Human Rights, Privacy, Freedom of Expression, Free Movement (Substantive Law of the EU), Judicial System of the European Union, International Civil Aviation Law, EU Law.     The Comparative Legal Systems (without Thesis) program has been developed within the framework of joint education and training scheme and will be conducted by Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Law in collaboration with the L'Alma Mater Studiorum Bologna University (UniBo) Law School.
