    Overview The Bachelor of Art and Design (Hons) offered at the Universiti Teknologi Mara it complies with the requirements set by the Ministry of Education and aspired to produce high quality visual Art Education teachers in secondary schools and related institutions. The program aims to equip pre-service teachers who are highly knowledgeable in both content and skill-based domains. The major component of this program prepares students for in-depth studio experiences through various media forms and techniques. These include aspects related to theories and practices in art and design education, integrated studio experiences in variety of media, classroom teaching experiences as well as community services. The pre-service teachers are trained to provide on-site learning experiences and educational programs in venues such as museums and art galleries in addition to series of academic visits to renowned cultural institutions in Malaysia. Flair in technology is also deemed important, these future teachers are required equipped with the ability to plan and implement lessons through the use of new media and technology. The three-month school placement during the final year provides students with rich understanding of the reality of teaching profession and teaches them valuable experience in the application of content and pedagogy of Visual Arts teaching. During this attachment, students are required to carry out an academic exercise, a small-scale research on teaching and learning that leads to the production of a mini thesis. The employment opportunities are diverse and dynamic. The job market includes employment in various educational institutions: local and foreign; private institutions, government-linked schools or government agencies. Our alumni is of various professional backgrounds consisting of academics from schools, public and private tertiary institutions, artists and executives.Career / Study ProspectsGraduate of the programme can serve as English teachers or instructors in government, private secondary school, international school, colleges and university. Besides that, they may also choose to pursue studies in local or international higher institutions. In spite of the common misconception that the art and design education students from the Faculty of Education, UiTM are mostly to become teachers, in reality, there are many alumni who had become as a part time artist which is painter, sculptor, graphic and web designer, and also entrepreneurs.     The Bachelor of Art and Design (Hons) offered at the Universiti Teknologi Mara   is a four-year degree program offered to those who wish to pursue their career not only in teaching and other academic disciplines in private or governmental sectors, but also of entrepreneurial orientation and in corporate agencies.

    1STPM مع 3 تصاريح رئيسية بما في ذلك Kertas Am أو Pengajian Am و'Seni Visual' وتمرير فرعي في موضوع واحد (1) آخر مع CGPA 3.00 وقد خضع لدورة متخصصة في التربية الفنية تنظمها وزارة التربية والتعليم (كليات تدريب المعلمين)SPM/ اجتياز SPMV بما في ذلك "Seni Visual" مع ما لا يقل عن سبع (7) سنوات من الخبرة في التدريس في التربية الفنية ودبلوم مرتبط بـ "Seni Visual" من UiTM أو جامعة أخرى معترف بها من قبل الحكومة الماليزية بحد أدنى من المعدل التراكمي. أو 2.50 وMUET (الحد الأدنى للنطاق 2) اجتياز الاختبار الكتابي MEDSI (قائمة اختيار المعلمين الماليزيين) والاختبار البدني والمقابلة التي تعدها وزارة التعليم العالي
