    Overview MethodologySeminarsAt the seminar classes in this Advertising and Public Relations course offered by Blanquerna - Universitat Ramon Llull, teacher-tutors work 6 hours a week with 12 students maximum. This close interaction creates a personal relationship with each student. It is also a way of getting to know about the profession of journalism with a teacher-tutor who has direct links with the world of work. The second cycle will be the beginning of your professional experience: in third level you will live communication from the professional point of view. In fourth level, specialisation will be divided into topic areas.Work practiceWe have arrangements with the main advertising and public relations companies.Studying abroadThe School offers students in fourth level the opportunity of participating in international programmes.InternshipsInternships at companies or institutions are a key element in our training process. The School has agreements with more than 300 companies where students are prepared to face the world of work. Internships can be paid or unpaid, depending on the company or institution.Career opportunitiesAdvertising Agencies: in promotions, digital advertising, healthcare and wellness communication, packagingPublic Relations Agencies: consultancy, events organization, press offices, corporate communicationCentral, Media Buying Agencies.Research Institutes: into markets and audiences.Advertisers: marketing department, advertising department, commercial department.Communication media: marketing department, advertising department, commercial department.Final Degree ProjectThe Final Degree Project, which the student does during the last year of their degree, is the students’ first collective workprocess that is planned and executed to the same demanding standards as that of any professional project in the advertising sector.With the academic development that culminates in the Final Degree Project, our students are capable of working on any national or international project.Second degree - two communications degrees in five yearsGraduates in Advertising and Public Relations, Journalism or Cinema and Television can now do a second one of these degrees in just one more academic year. All of their 1st and 2nd year courses, as well as their electives, will be recognized, in addition to all of the mandatory courses of 3rd and 4th year. The student who registers for a second degree can take the remaining courses in both the morning and afternoon timetables. Before the beginning of the new academic year, the student will take a supplementary course of Introduction and History in the degree plan chosen. The internships will not be recognized automatically, but if the student requests it, they may be recognized once the course has started.
