    Overview Skills and competences The specialty in Aquaculture master's degree at the University of Santiago de Compostela trains students to manage farms, both for fish and mollusc farming and crustacean and algae farming firms. The master's program also aims to responds to this demand.The specialty in Aquaculture Biotechnology trains both for research in R&D centres and for R&D departments in farming and biotechnology companies. This type of company requires staff with fundamental knowledge of farming, but also with in-depth training in research so that, in the event of opting for a PhD, they may address research lines applied to the sector's specific interests.
