Living in accommodation of various kinds will cost foreign students between EUR200 to stand up at 300 per month. Expenses concerning transportation, utilities and food are calculated on the scale based on students’ life styles.

Living expenses for a foreign student can reach EUR 750, with rent not included, which is 12% less than living expenses in US. We can say that living expenses in South Cyprus are as the same as living expenses in Europe countries like Hungary, Romania and Poland.

Fruit and meat are cheaper in prices than in many European countries, in addition to restaurants which are on average, cheaper as well. Foreign students can choose local and smaller dining out constructions to save some money in having global cuisine on offer in South Cyprus such as street food.

Buses are available in Cyprus at affordable prices, but they are often not on duty.Furthermore,  the routes are restricted to reach some places more than others, with no rail network, so locals prefer to have taxis or buy a private car.
