Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive program that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination. 


This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Structured like a real university semester, our English Academic Semester courses are six-month English courses that aim to take you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. Our Intensive Academic Semester course allows you to maximize your classroom time, with extra lessons focusing on specific skills such as business English, academic English, literature or TOEFL/IELTS preparation. 
But don’t forget – at Kaplan, exploration and adventure are part of the learning process, so you’ll still have opportunities to get out and enjoy your destination. 
You can take an Academic Semester for only five months where visa restrictions apply. Please contact your advisor to find out where we offer this option.

IELTS Intensive Exam Preparation - Oxford

The Cambridge English Qualification is an internationally recognized test and qualification of English language ability. 
This program will prepare you for the Cambridge English Exam: FCE (B2 First), or CAE (C1 Advanced), leaving you with a thorough, detailed understanding of the Cambridge Exam structure and teaching you a variety of test-taking strategies. 
Our lessons offer you a chance to take Cambridge Exam practice tests, learn a variety of techniques and feel confident on test day, which coincides with your last week of the course. 
Choose between an Intensive course with 21 hours of class time, or a General course of 15 hours.
