    The Mission

    The accounting and finance unit is an indispensable part of the business, a science that certifies, records, reports and transfers financial information about the financial incidents that occur in businesses. The specialists with accounting and finance knowledge and skills are inseparable elements of both government, business and financial institutions. For this reason, the program primarily focuses on topics such as basic economics, business, mathematics, law, computer, statistics and then deepens the subjects in accounting and finance branch. In addition to Turkish accounting and tax system, information and education are also given on international scale.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
    2. Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript
    3. Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
    4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
    5. Equivalency Paper (Denklik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)
    6. Language Proficiency Certificate
    7. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.

    Career

    Program graduates are employed in the financial departments of the Ministry of Finance, Undersecretariat of Treasury, court of exchequer, BRSA, CMB, banks and other public institutions and private sector enterprises as a financial auditor, tax auditor, financial analyst, portfolio manager, audit committee member, account specialist, income manager, accounting specialist, financial reporting specialist, budgeting and financial planning specialist, general coordinator of accounting and finance, department head, supervisor and tax auditor. They can also work independently as an independent accountant, financial adviser and chartered accountant.

    2. High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
    3. High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
    4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
    5. 60 % marks (min) in High School
    6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points
      (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). 
      (If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr)
    7. For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required.
    8. Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.
