APPLIED RUSSIAN-TURKISH TRANSLATION

Missions

Our mission is to training competent translators who have assimilated ethical values within the frame of basic scientific understanding, have full knowledge of translation theories and rules besides high level of Russian and has attentive and regular working habit.

Opportuni

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
5. Equivalency Paper (Denklik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)
6. Language Proficiency Certificate
7. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.

• The graduates of Applied Russian-Turkish translation can work in wide variety of sector including translation offices, engineering and architecture firms, foreign trade companies, private institutions and organizations, tourism agenties and other agencies operating in the field of tourism, news agencies, various undersecretariats and ministries.
• Possibility to continue Baccalaureateprograms(Translation and Iterpritation in Russian or The  Russian language and literature)

1. Passport photograph
2. High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. 60 % marks (min) in High School
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points
   (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). 
   (If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr)
7. For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required.
8. Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.
