Introduction;

Architectural Graduate Program (with thesis) is an interdisciplinary program offered at the Department of Architecure at stanbul Aydn Univeristy. In addition to the undergraduate students of Architecture, students from Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geodesy and Photogrammetry, Forest and Agricultural Engineering, City and Regional planning, Landscape Architecture and Interior Design can also apply for Architectural Graduate Program. The candidates from fields other than the field of Architecture should successfully complete the courses â€œMIM 301-Architectural History and Theory III and MIM 305 Architectural Design IIIâ€ that are part of the undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Architecture. The need for interdisciplinary work in architecture is growing. Building structures in harmony with their environment and ecological, geological, technological, sociological and physiological needs particularly mandate this interdiscplinary approach. To this end, the Graduate Program in Architecture at the Institute of Science and Technology at Istanbul Aydn University is aimed at developing design strategies using the potentials of landscape architecture and sciences on topography structure.

Education Program;

Masters Degree Program with thesis in Architecture is a 120 ECTS credits program with a duration of 2 academic years and with 4 consecutive 30-ECTS semesters. The regular program consists of 7 courses of 21 local credits, a seminar and a thesis. Both the course work and the thesis worth 60 ECTS credits each.

Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
Turkish translation of Undergraduate diploma and transcript
Notarization of translated Undergraduate diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
Language proficiency certificate:

How to Apply

Passport photograph
Undergraduate diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
Undergraduate transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
A cumulative GPA of 2,5 (on a 4,0) or equivalent
For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -66 points (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr .
Students applying for Turkish Degree program (TOMER B2 Level)
If you know Turkish (You can pass a Turkish Proficiency Exam)
If you do not know Turkish then Apply for Turkish Language Program first at tomer.aydin.edu.tr, as without having Turkish Language visa students will not be registered to TÖMER.
