    About

    Learn from games design industry leaders and fast track your career in games development and interactive media. Prepare for a career in the booming industry of games development and interactive design. You'll learn the methods required to create interactive experiences, and how to tailor your work to mass audiences using the latest technologies. You'll learn and put into practice skills in programming and interactive design, allowing you to work as an experienced designer in the games and software industries. This degree is delivered in partnership with Monkeystack.

    • Develop high-demand skills in interactive design for the games industry and user-centred software such as mobile phone apps.
    • Study interactive design along with foundations in programming to ensure you are comfortable working directly in code.
    • Study game design and 3D art courses and graduate prepared to apply your skills to Games and CGI industries.
    • Creative industry partners and work-integrated learning opportunities will prepare you for project work in the real world.
    • Graduate with a portfolio of creative work to take you from study to your career.
    • Use this degree to transfer to the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Effects and Entertainment Design), or the Bachelor of Information Technology (Simulation and Serious Games)

    Entry Requirements

    The minimum entry requirement is comparable to an ATAR of 65, please note that some Flinders programs require higher than a comparable ATAR of 65. For further information please see the individual requirements for programs on the course listings.

    Credit for previous university studies is granted at the discretion of the faculty that administers a chosen course. If you are seeking credit or exemption you will need to provide detailed subject outlines of studies completed.

    If you do not meet the necessary academic requirements you may enrol in a Foundation Program at Flinders International Study Centre (FISC).

     

    English Program Requirements

    If you don’t meet our English language entry requirements and need to improve your English language proficiency, you can do so through our approved English Language Instruction Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) providers. This means that you can attend the required English language tuition at approved ELICOS providers and gain direct entry into university without an IELTS or TOEFL test.
