The program aims to graduate professional cadres in cybersecurity in both the academic and professional fields who are able to lead, design, and develop various projects in the various fields of cybersecurity, through high-quality program.

About

Upon completion of the degree requirements of this program, students are expected to be highly trained professionals in the field of cybersecurity.
This program has been designed in a way that gives the department the flexibility to adapt the curricula and make necessary modifications in order to meet the needs of students wishing to become specialists in various fields of cybersecurity, as well as the needs of students looking to pursue higher studies in the same field or in other related fields. In order to accomplish this, the cybersecurity program focuses on the key findings that must be adhered to by providing a flexible multi-directional framework, which aims to provide an opportunity to delve into one of the relevant branches of knowledge and meet the labor market need for graduates with sufficient skills in these professions and career paths.

Departmental graduation requirements:

In addition to the university requirements and college requirements, the student must pass (80) credit hours, distributed as follows (68) credit hours as compulsory major requirements, and (12) hours as elective major requirements.

Possible Fields of work for Graduates:

There are many fields in which graduates can work, including, an expert in encryption and securing electronic transactions, a cybersecurity expert, a cybersecurity specialist, an expert in protecting electronic penetrations, an analyst for various security systems for companies, a cybersecurity analyst, an employee protecting and defending systems and devices from penetration and piracy, An expert in protecting the national information network from various electronic attacks, a cryptography expert, and other jobs that keep pace with the latest scientific developments in the labor market.

Entry Requirements at Princess Sumaya University for Technology

The student must have a Jordanian high school diploma or its equivalent
The student’s average should not be lower than the minimum average announced by the university to compete for admission in the current academic year to join the university’s faculties.
Admission to the university is based on the principle of competition according to the university entrance examination, and the higher the student’s mark in this examination, the greater his chance of admission.
The student must submit an application to the Deanship of Admission and Registration and complete all required documents on the specified date after paying the application fee (non-refundable)
In the application for admission, the applicant determines the majors according to the faculties, in order of the priority of his desire.
Accepted students are distributed to PSUT’s Schools according to the absorptive capacity of each study program and according to their stated preferences. Since admission is granted on a competitive basis, those students with higher averages in the Secondary School Certificate will be given priority of choice.
The student must not have been previously dismissed from Princess Sumaya University for Technology or any other university for disciplinary reasons.
The student’s fulfillment of the admission requirements for the required major and the submission of an application for admission does not mean admission to the university. Rather, the student is accepted as a final acceptance if the student meets the competition criteria and passes the admission exam held by the university.
