The Faculty of Arts at Jerash University aims to facilitate students' academic performance, development and growth through the following initiatives:
- Developing scientific research and activating its role in all aspects of social life
- Contributing to encouraging students to hold steadfast to the well-established religious, social, and moral values of Arab, Islamic society
-Graduating generations of students who are fully aware of the significance of Standard Arabic and its use in intellectual and literary realms
- Working to improve the performance of students in Arabic so as to enhance their cultural identity and install societal values
-Supplying the educational community, governmental agencies, and other public and private establishments with specialized scientific cadres who will meet the labor market's national needs in regard to the Arabic and English languages, as well as translation.
