BANKING AND INSURANCE

Masters Degree Program without thesis in Banking and Insurance is a 90 ECTS credit program with a duration of 1,5 academic years and with 3 30-ECTS semesters. The regular program consists of 10 courses of 30 local credits and a term Project. The institute, upon the request of the program director, may require the prospective student to take additional courses if his/her background is not seen fit to follow the program.

Banking and Insurance, creating a high added value, is the fastest growing sector in Turkey. In terms of employment, Banking and Insurance is the most employment providing sector. Presently, some 165 000 qualified employees are working in 7852 departments of  46 banks of Turkey. 33 of these 46 banks are deposit banks and 13  are reconstruction and development banks . Moreover, “stanbul Finance Center” projects executed by the  government intend to change stanbul into a regional financial market. The aim of this program is to give the students the basic knowledge and a wide vision about banking and insurance. Theory and practice are executed together.

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of Undergraduate diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated Undergraduate diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.  Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)

1. Passport photograph
2. Undergraduate diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. Undergraduate transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. A cumulative GPA of 2,5 (on a 4,0) or equivalent
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -66 points (If English is not the   first/      official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr .

9. If you do not know Turkish then Apply for Turkish Language Program first at tomer.aydin.edu.tr, as without having Turkish Language visa students will not be registered to TÖMER.
