    About

    This course will equip graduates with the skills and knowledge to make an effective contribution to the equine industry. You will learn with the skills and knowledge to successfully establish and run a range of equine businesses, both in the UK and abroad. It will enable you to continue learning at postgraduate level, or to transfer skills and knowledge into a different future career path.  

    Graduates will manage the overall care of horses in a range of equine disciplines and settings such as nutritional advisors, yard managers, stud yards, the racing industry, welfare and animal/equine behaviour.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    4 Highers at BBCC, including Biology and preferably English.

    Applicants should be able to offer National 5 (A-C) or equivalent pass in English (for literacy) and in Maths (for numeracy).

    Two weeks of relevant practical work experience and riding evidence will be required.
