    Overview Civil Engineering at Qatar University is the broadest and oldest of the engineering disciplines, spanning across many technical specialties which are not independent, but rather interact with each other. Learning outcomesCivil engineers plan, design, construct and maintain the physical and naturally built environment including buildings; roads; bridges; airports; railways; ports; water distribution and wastewater collection systems; waste disposal facilities; tunnels; stadiums; offshore structures; dams; and other infrastructure projects. As civil engineers develop their skills, they can advance into the area of engineering management, overseeing the completion of the whole project. The Civil Engineering graduates secure full employment within three months of their graduation.
