The Communication Sciences program at University of Minho was founded in 1991 and since then has grown in quality and prestige. In 2004 it was recognized with an Excellent Employment Rate; in 2005 it was ranked as the Best Communication Program in the country and in 2008 its Research Centre was, once more, rated as Excellent.
