GRAPHIC DESIGN ART QUALIFICATION
Mission:
The department of Graphic Design at the Social Sciences Institute at Istanbul Aydn University provides an advanced education in graphic design for those who hold a bachelor degree from any disciplines of fine arts. The main goal of the program is to encourage free artistic expression derived from the students own choices and tendencies in any design field they choose, where the creation process is handled with competent, conscious attitudes, and where artistic creation is recognized through a scope that relates to time, space and culture and which is applied in innovative solutions.
Programmes Opportunities:
The program is a 240 ECTS credit program with a duration of 4 academic years, each with 8 semesters. The regular program consists of 7 courses of 21 local credits, a seminar and a thesis work of 120 ECTS credits with a normal duration of 4 semesters. The institute, upon the request of the program director, may require the prospective student to take additional courses if his/her background is not seen fit to follow the program.
