Higher Education Administration (Turkish Thesis)

The fast development of technology, changes in national and international development plans, and globalization of education have created competition among higher education institutions. Besides, there have been heightened expectations from higher education institutions. Therefore, the roles of higher education administrators have become more complicated, varied, and vague. In this process of change, higher education administrators are expected to develop new skills and strategies for ensuring sustainable development in their institutions. Higher Education Administration and Leadership Masters Program is designed for those who intend to pursue a career in administrative roles in higher education institutions. The program aims to provide graduate students with the core of higher education administration and leadership along with providing a background to enable them to integrate theory and practice. There are many higher education administration graduate programs in the world. Baheehir University takes pride in having the first Higher Education Administration and Leadership Masters Program in Turkey that focuses on training and ensuring professional development of academic and non-academic administrators.

Program Structure

• The Masters Program in Higher Education Administration and Leadership comprises seven courses, a seminar course, and a Masters thesis.
• The thesis program must be completed in 4 to 6 semesters. Students who fail to complete their programs by the end of their sixth semester, are allowed to continue their studies but they do not benefit from students rights.
• For a six-semester program, freezing registration will not be allowed for more than 2 semesters in total. Courses in the programs are typically delivered between 19:00 and 22:00 on weekdays at Beikta Campus.

Applicants with a Bachelor degree

If English is not your first language, or you do not have an internationally recognized English qualification, you will need to provide evidence of your English language ability. You can bring one of the internationally recognized test results or you can take the proficiency test of Bahçeşehir University (For Undergraduate Programs Min. Score: 60-Graduate Programs Min. Score: 65)
