Interior Architecture and Environmental Design

The Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department aims to train professionals who can conceptualize their designs through critical inquiry within contemporary theoretical frameworks, and prepare graduates who are equipped with the knowledge and technical skills required for realizing their designs at the level of universal standards, who have the confidence of designing and working independently, yet at the same time who have the ability to be a team member that are aware of their professional and ethical responsibilities. Along this path, materialization of the act of designing spaces, environmental analyses and identification of user needs and preferences through particapatory processes as well as their reflections on designs constitute the unique emphasis in the educational vision of the department.

  The following examination results are accepted by Kadir Has University: 

  • TOEFL-IBT min. 78, 2 years valid (Kadir Has University institutional code is 7524). If taking in Turkey, the testing center has to be at the State Turkish University.
  • CAE min. C, 3 years valid
  • CPE min. C, 3 years valid
  • PTE Academic min. 60, 2 years valid
