    Overview Throughout the period of study, the students can acquire knowledge about the theoretical background of Islamic economics, the practical-oriented courses regarding Islamic finance, as they take many courses of economics and finance programs.These Islamic Economics and Finance courses at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University can be exemplified as; Islamic Economic Thought, Foundations of Islamic Economics, History of Islamic Economics, Participation Banking in Turkey. In addition, by the courses of Introduction to Economics, Principles of Accounting, Corporate Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Economic Growth and Development and many others, it is aimed that the students can have a grasp of prevailing economic theory and the contemporary issues in economics. I want to find another Bachelor Course The students of Islamic Economics and Finance at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University can have an opportunity to do minor and double major, as they can learn Ottoman Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, Russian and if the requirement of the minimum number of students for the course is satisfied they can also learn the other languages. They can do minor by taking six of the eleven elective courses from the same department throughout the eight-semester program, as for double major, if they take the all elective courses from the same department their course load will lower. The Opportunities for Students:Learning a foreign language (Free),Minor (One year extra scholarship in addition to the regular period of study),Major (One year extra scholarship in addition to the regular period of study),International student exchange programs (1 or 2 semesters),Carrier OpportunitiesThe students who will graduate from this program can have an opportunity to make an academic career in the related fields at universities and research centers for both national and international level. Secondly, they can find job opportunities in the participation banks in Turkey, which are the outstanding institutions in the field of Islamic Finance. Currently, there are six participation banks in Turkey, as they have 1068 branches throughout the country. Also, the other institutions which operate in the field, especially TKBB (Participation Banks Association of Turkey), indicate that there is a need for qualified labor force for the Islamic finance sector in Turkey. 
    Islamic Economics and Finance bachelor program at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University , which has been the first department of Islamic economics and finance established in Turkey, consists of four-year study period.
