    The general objectives of the Law programme of the University of Porto are to provide comprehensive training base, to instill basic frameworks for thought and reasoning, and give students the "know-how" students will need in the labour market to recognize social phenomena lacking legal intervention and to determine the legal pathway(s) to solve them, and the ability to act accordingly.
