    Step towards a PhD

    The upcoming semester for this program will be delivered in a multi-modal format, with classes designed to support and engage all learners.     Academia requires graduates to enhance their research capabilities and skills. The Master of Arts (by Research) allows students to research within an area of interest and develop their communication, qualitative and quantitative research skills.

    Students in the Master of Arts (by Research) can research in an area of interest within the Faculty of Society & Design. Students are supervised by Academics with specialist knowledge in an array of areas. Graduates can use this program as a stepping stone to a PhD program.

    Entry Requirements

    The minimum requirement for admission to the Masters of Arts (by Research) program is a four-year (i.e. eight semester) Honours degree (First Class, 2A, 2B) or a qualification or combination of qualifications deemed to be equivalent to the above by the HDR Committee.
