    The Master of Business (Human Resource Management) provides a comprehensive foundation covering the core business and management disciplines with the option for you to pursue a specialisation in human resource management.

    This specialisation covers critical components of HRM relating to staffing and effective resource management in an international context. It will provide you with specialised skills and knowledge to pursue a career in this discipline, which is vital to the overall success of a business.

    The Master of Business (Human Resource Management) consists of 16 topics. The two-year program is designed for more recent graduates who have not yet fully embarked on a professional career. It provides the opportunity for commerce or business graduates to further develop their discipline knowledge or for non-business graduates to develop essential business skills and knowledge to broaden their employment-related choices. The two-year duration of the program provides you further opportunities to undertake a range of elective topics. This course may be completed in an accelerated mode if online or intensive topic modes are selected. The Master of Business with specialisation comprises nine core topics, up to four specialisation topics and at least three elective topics.

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification or hold a the Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Education or closely related qualification. In addition, applicants must also have no less than two years’ work experience in an organisation.

    English Program Requirements

    If you don’t meet our English language entry requirements and need to improve your English language proficiency, you can do so through our approved English Language Instruction Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) providers. This means that you can attend the required English language tuition at approved ELICOS providers and gain direct entry into university without an IELTS or TOEFL test.
