Computer science creates the frameworks that information technology depends on, and Flinders University's computer science degrees provide the skills, knowledge and practical training you'll need to make your mark in an amazing and challenging field.

Study the theory and practical aspects of topics as diverse as computer programming, intelligent and interactive systems, digital media, robotics, systems engineering, heuristic optimisation and more. You'll work in close consultation with industry, building scientific skills that are in demand and up-to-the-minute, and running industry-relevant projects.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification or hold a the Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Education or closely related qualification. In addition, applicants must also have no less than two years’ work experience in an organisation.

English Program Requirements

If you don’t meet our English language entry requirements and need to improve your English language proficiency, you can do so through our approved English Language Instruction Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) providers. This means that you can attend the required English language tuition at approved ELICOS providers and gain direct entry into university without an IELTS or TOEFL test.
