    About

The Master of Public Health is a flexible one-year degree designed to provide a broad introduction to public health. You will engage in innovative learning experiences where you will gain advanced work-ready skills and develop a keen analytical and social lens to address issues of global health significance.

You will study four foundational (core) public health subjects, select elective subjects or complete a specialisation from the following:

    • Social systems
    • Big data and decision science
    • Indigenous health
    • Public health practice
    • Public health research
    • Climate and environment

Additionally, the Master of Public Health has a strong focus on Work Integrated Learning, industry connections, and practical placements (available through the public health practice specialisation), where you will put theoretical knowledge into practice.

Students seeking a two-year program may be interested in the Master of Public Health Extension.
