About

The need for specialized engineers is increasing since only technology-oriented, competitive and productive companies can survive these days. Many companies engaged in industrial production have turned to R&D (Research and Development) activities for remaining competitive in the market. The most important component of the R&D infrastructure is the quality and expertise of graduate Mechanical Engineers. In order to meet this need, a "Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering" program was established at the Graduate School Engineering and Science of Altinbas University in Istanbul.
