    About

    The purpose of the YaÅŸar University Private Law Doctorate Program (Faculty of Law) is to educate scientists who are qualified in the world of science, who have analytical thinking skills, follow the innovations in the world and compare them and bring new perspectives into law. It is difficult to say that scientific studies in the field of law have increased at the same rate despite the increasing number of lawyers in our country. We believe that it will contribute to the advancement of science with the preparation of qualified articles in the courses to be carried out with academicians who are experts in their fields and with a different perspective that each will bring.

    Entry Requirements

    Postgraduate diploma (or higher) To be a graduate of bachelors degree in Law and to be graduate of masters degree program (with thesis) in Private Law GRE: Min. 153 or GMAT: 500 or ALES: Min. 70 Any Type Min. Graduation Degree(Master) should be: 3.00 / 4.00 All documents have to be uploaded in English or Turkish

    English Program Requirements

    Students who have applied for Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programmes provided in English, are obligated to take the Yasar University English Proficiency Test (FLAT). Exam registration is completed during the matriculation process. Direct entry to first year of the program is achieved with a minimum score of 65/100 in this exam. Students achieving below this score will be required to take a year of English preparation before entering the faculty.

    Exemption from the English Preparation Year may also be gained by submitting passing scores in one of the following equivalent English Language Tests:
    TOEFL IBT
    CAE
    CPE
    PTE

    The Yasar University FLAT Examination is not valid for PhD Candidates. Students who are applying to PhD program must submit one of the exams listed above.

    According to the legislation accepted by the State Higher Education Council of Turkish Republic, IELTS is not accepted as a valid examination for English language exemption at all educational degrees.


    Turkish To have proficiency in Turkish, YDS: (English, German or French) Min. 65 or its equivalent defined by ÖSYM.
