About

Overview The Philosophy, Politics and Economics BSc programme offered at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is a multidisciplinary study programme that integrates the strengths of its three fields. We encourage you to take a look at our exciting range of courses, which provide rigorous theoretical training and hands-on experience that will enable you to take an active role in shaping the world’s future! We are proud to offer the first full-scale PPE programme in continental Europe, with many unique features for students. The programme includes distinctive international study opportunities and instruction from worldclass academics, politicians, and executives. With a low student-to-staff ratio, PPE courses offer a personal learning experience and our dedicated teaching staff facilitate innovative, hand-on learning right in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam.Our active student community is a big part of what makes PPE at the VU special: PPE is situated in the John Stuart Mill College, which provides exclusive study areas.The college hosts a wide range of extracurricular events, workshops and even international trips.The student society, KallioPPE, hosts a variety of social activities, including pub quizzes, excursions, and study sessions.
