    About

    Nowadays, art and design practices have brought the various disciplines together and have become an area where more recent and different expressions are used to create the structure of the characteristics of these disciplines. The aim of the program, within the context of this multi-disciplinary approach, rather than the individual disciplines, is to gather Art and Design” under a single roof and also training artists who are using other disciplines of art for the creation process, while specializing in one of them, but also training those artists to be able to create academic studies within that creation process, using the relevant research methods.

    Postgraduate diploma (or higher) To be a graduate of masters degree programs with thesis at Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Art and Design and Faculty of Communication or Conservatories. Masters: Min. 3.00/4.00

    English Program Requirements

    Please read carefully for detailed information!

    Students who have applied for Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programmes provided in English, are obligated to take the Yasar University English Proficiency Test (FLAT). Exam registration is completed during the matriculation process. Direct entry to first year of the program is achieved with a minimum score of 65/100 in this exam. Students achieving below this score will be required to take a year of English preparation before entering the faculty.

    Exemption from the English Preparation Year may also be gained by submitting passing scores in one of the following equivalent English Language Tests:
    TOEFL IBT
    CAE
    CPE
    PTE

    The Yasar University FLAT Examination is not valid for PhD Candidates. Students who are applying to PhD program must submit one of the exams listed above.

    According to the legislation accepted by the State Higher Education Council of Turkish Republic, IELTS is not accepted as a valid examination for English language exemption at all educational degrees.
