Overview The Travel and Service Business Entrepreneurship program of Mahidol University copes with the tendency of tourism growth, universities in Thailand have been developing a common academic curriculum in tourism and hospitality so that an individual’s qualifications can be mutually recognized so as to aid labor mobility. They have been trained to gain practitioner-level skills with emphasis on management.Potential careers after graduation include positions in operational management in the areas mentioned. Our alumni have proven themselves to be successful middle- to senior management professionals.Public SectorStudents who are interested in events and exhibitions can avail of job opportunities in organizations in the public sector such as Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) or Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).EntrepreneursStudents can start their own business in the hospitality industry. They can run and operate their own hotels and restaurants.Other Possible Career PathsStudents are trained to acquire interpersonal, cross-cultural, communication / third language, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to apply these in other professions in different fields such as consumer products.Students are trained in basic research methods, including quantitative and qualitative approaches.
