    The Vocational education at Irbid National University is a Full Time Bachelor program offered across its Irbid and Main Site campuses in Jordan. The program is delivered on campus in English and can be completed in 4 years. Students develop academic knowledge and practical skills that prepare them for future careers in this field. Tuition fees are USD 35 / per hour, and the next available intake starts on October 12, 2026.

    About Bachelor of Vocational education

    The Department of Vocational Education seeks to prepare a generation of graduates who have professional and ethical skills that qualify them to practice various professions with high efficiency, by offering a vocational education program that meets the needs of the different labor market, in cooperation with the various colleges and departments of the university that are related to the department and relevant institutions from the Ministry of Education, the Relief Agency, and civil society institutions, to achieve integration in the preparation of graduates. To achieve this, the department adopts a group of professional, scientific, and cultural activities. And education, in an effort to develop the capabilities and skills of graduates so that they can contribute effectively and efficiently to society, as this is done under the supervision of a group of professors and specialists with scientific and research competence in all fields covered by the vocational education program at Irbid Private University, and who have prominent research and community contributions. The department also seeks to achieve continuous professional development for faculty members by involving them in various programs. The department aspires in its future plan to expand by offering a program specialized in vocational education for the next stage. Master’s and higher diploma levels specialized in the professional field, so that these programs rise to meet the continuous development of the needs of the labor market. It is the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, may God protect and preserve him, to build educational institutions and pay attention to education, which will make the homeland a dear, strong and invincible homeland.     Entry Requirements

    Admission Requirements for Bachelor's Programs

    • Applicants must hold the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or an equivalent qualification.
    • General secondary certificates issued in Arab countries are considered equivalent to the Jordanian certificate, provided they are certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Education.
    • Non-Jordanian applicants holding a vocational secondary school certificate must apply to the Jordanian Ministry of Education to obtain an official certificate equivalency.

    Admission and Credit Transfer Requirements (Community College Bridging Program)

    • Applicants must have passed the Jordanian Community College Comprehensive Examination with a minimum average of 68%.
    • Students transferring from Jordanian community colleges may receive credit for equivalent courses included in the study plan, up to a maximum of 66 credit hours.
    • The minimum admission average for bridging students with disabilities is 65%, provided they submit a medical report issued by the Disability Diagnosis Center at the Jordanian Ministry of Health confirming that the disability affected their academic performance.

    • The original General Secondary Education Certificate transcript or a certified copy.
    • A certified copy of the Family Book (for Jordanian applicants).
    • A certified copy of the national ID, or a passport for non-Jordanian applicants.
    • An original or certified copy of the birth certificate for non-Jordanian applicants, authenticated by the applicant's home country.
    • An official transcript for students transferring from other universities, certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
    • An official Community College transcript for bridging applicants, certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
    • Two recent passport-sized photographs (4 × 6 cm).
    • A copy of the Military Service Booklet for Jordanian male applicants only.
