They should be capable of understanding the social, historical, political, and philosophical contexts of the Anglo-Saxon world, from a democratic standpoint, taking into account values such as equality of opportunities, integration and a culture for peace.Professional opportunities Graduates in English studies are able to work professionally in: teaching in secondary schools, adult education, lifelong learning and private language teaching centres. Translation and interpretation, on either a freelance or employed basis, in publishing houses, the media, and cultural industries.
