“Engineering for Sustainability” model requires the cooperation of multiplicity of disciplines, therefore, we educate the students in a multidisciplinary environment to address engineering fundamentals and technologies for green buildings, new materials and sensors for smart infrastructure systems to ensure meeting the growing industry needs.

The department offers incomparable opportunities for students to experience groundbreaking local civil and environmental engineering projects through a participation in a local training for 160 hours and an international internship in Germany and Extends for 20 weeks.
Academic Structure
The Department of Civil and Environmental engineering offers two tracks that students can choose from after their third year: Sustainable Structures and Smart Mobility Track, and Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development Track. The students in each program should complete 173 credit hours including 24 Credit hours in one of our German partner universities.
