The Master's program in Early Childhood Education was launched at the beginning of the 2023–2024 academic year, aimed at providing both local and Arab markets with outstanding scientific talents in the field of early childhood education and its various sciences. The program prepares graduates who possess deep knowledge and high professional and research skills in diverse areas of early childhood, under the supervision of a distinguished group of qualified faculty members with specialized scientific experience in different aspects of early childhood sciences.
The program awards a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education after completing 33 credit hours according to the thesis track, where the study plan includes (24) credit hours of course work and (9) credit hours dedicated to preparing the thesis.
The student submits their thesis for defense after completing its preparation and meeting readiness requirements. The result is evaluated as either (Pass), (Pass with Revisions), or (Fail). After successfully passing the thesis defense, the student is awarded a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.
This program is unique at both national and regional levels. Through it, the Department of Early Childhood aims to provide the local and regional community with qualified personnel capable of making significant contributions to the fields of early childhood education, educational work, and specialized research.
