About Bachelor of Graphic design

The graphic design program, which was established at the College of Arts and Arts at Irbid Private University in 2007, is considered one of the most prominent educational initiatives that aim to hone students’ talents and qualify them to enter the work arena, whether at the local or global level. Based on our constant keenness to keep pace with the continuous development in the field of learning and teaching and to improve the education and creativity system at the local and global levels. The program provides a broad introduction to aspects of visual communication practice. It is based on training students in critical and creative thinking approaches and methods to solve simple and complex design problems in order to give priority to application and production, and an educational approach that allows students to create their own styles in addition to presenting different cultural, environmental and historical viewpoints regarding the graphic design specialty. The program also features curricula in accordance with academic standards and modern techniques for studying graphic design. With the aim of preparing qualified cadres to meet the challenges of the labor market.

Entry Requirements

Admission Requirements for Bachelor's Programs

Applicants must hold the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or an equivalent qualification.
General secondary certificates issued in Arab countries are considered equivalent to the Jordanian certificate, provided they are certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Education.
Non-Jordanian applicants holding a vocational secondary school certificate must apply to the Jordanian Ministry of Education to obtain an official certificate equivalency.

Admission and Credit Transfer Requirements (Community College Bridging Program)

Applicants must have passed the Jordanian Community College Comprehensive Examination with a minimum average of 68%.
Students transferring from Jordanian community colleges may receive credit for equivalent courses included in the study plan, up to a maximum of 66 credit hours.
The minimum admission average for bridging students with disabilities is 65%, provided they submit a medical report issued by the Disability Diagnosis Center at the Jordanian Ministry of Health confirming that the disability affected their academic performance.
