    About Ph.D. Linguistic Studies

    This advanced series aims to enable researchers to master linguistic and theoretical analysis methods and develop independent research skills in the fields of phonology, semantics, semiology, and language applications in Arab and global societies. The courses include an in-depth study of modern linguistic theories, in addition to field workshops concerned with collecting and analyzing linguistic data using information technology tools.     Entry Requirements

    The programs offered at the university vary to include 105 academic programs distributed across the various academic stages. The university offers its students 53 programs at the bachelor's level, two programs at the diploma level, 43 programs at the master's level, and 9 programs at the doctoral level.

    Admission requirements for master's programs:
    A- The student must have a bachelor's degree with a grade of no less than good from a university, scientific institute, or scientific college recognized by Mu'tah University.
    B- The student must be regular in his studies at the bachelor's level.
    C- Pass the TOEFL exam as shown below.

    Admission requirements for doctoral programs
    A- The student must have a master's degree or its equivalent with a grade of "very good" at least from a university, scientific college, or scientific institute recognized by Mu'tah University.
    B- The student must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a grade of "good"
    C- The student must be regular in his studies at the bachelor's and master's levels.
    D- Pass the TOEFL exam as shown below.

    English Language Requirements for Postgraduate Studies
    Postgraduate students are accepted in doctoral and master's programs on condition that they pass the English language exam (TOEFL & IELTS) as an admission requirement and according to the data in the following table

    3- Students are accepted in postgraduate programs as an exception to the previous conditions in the event that they master the French language by obtaining the fifth level in the (Calibrated Test of French) TCF exam equivalent to the approved English language exam (Paper Based 500)
