Bachelor of Accounting at Yarmouk University

The Department of Accounting was established in 1982 and has been offering the Bachelor's program in Accounting since its inception. In 1999, the department launched a master's program in accounting under the thesis and comprehensive examination tracks. The department employs a group of faculty members who hold doctoral and master’s degrees from well-established and distinguished universities in various accounting specializations. The department has a number of scholarship students to obtain doctoral degrees at British and Australian universities. The department periodically reconsiders the study plans for the bachelor’s and master’s programs with the aim of preparing advanced study plans that meet the needs of society and keep pace with the requirements of the dynamic labor market on the one hand, and enhance the competitiveness of the department’s graduates in obtaining appropriate job opportunities on the other hand. The department also holds many scientific conferences and actively participates in local, regional and international conferences.
