Bachelor of Computer Engineering - Internet of Things at Yarmouk University

He founded the Bachelor of Computer Engineering/Internet of Things program at the Haggaji College of Engineering and Technology in 2023. Although the program has not yet received academic accreditation, it is scheduled to seek accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) by the time the first class graduates. Designed to meet the growing demand for connected systems, the curriculum integrates fundamental principles of hardware and software engineering with specialized training in the Internet of Things, cybersecurity, big data, and artificial intelligence. Students gain experience in designing and developing end-to-end IoT solutions, from designing embedded systems and smart wireless devices to managing and analyzing data via cloud computing. The program places a particular focus on application areas such as digital health, smart city solutions, and industrial internet, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the necessary skills to meet real-world challenges. In addition to technical courses, the program enhances communication, teamwork, and professional skills through project-based learning and collaborative assignments. The final year capstone project enables students to apply their knowledge in designing a comprehensive IoT system, while practical training opportunities in companies and laboratory work bridge the gap between theory and practice. Students graduate ready to take on roles in software development, embedded systems design, network architecture, and data analysis, preparing them to work at leading technology companies and innovative startups.
