Recently, the education system has been facing pressures and challenges as a result of the modern technological revolution, leading to a series of changes in human relationships. New trends related to the educational process have emerged, linking technology with education, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges the world faced at that time. In recent years, educational platforms, educational software, and other concepts have appeared that connected various academic curricula with technology as an easy and accessible method that allows students to reach content with ease.
E-learning has become one of the most essential skills that educational professionals at all levels must possess. In fact, it has become a necessity in this era, which is characterized by a knowledge explosion, an information revolution, and active knowledge with a significant impact on the educational process. In line with the Jordanian Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s interest in keeping pace with technological developments, it became necessary to introduce programs that align with these requirements. From this need, the idea of launching a Master's program in E-Learning Curricula at Zarqa University was born.
This program is an essential requirement for professionals in the field of education, in both the public and private sectors, as well as for individuals working in companies serving the education sector. The program aims to help them develop themselves and enhance their cognitive and practical competencies in alignment with the global technological revolution that must be embraced and utilized across all aspects of life, including education.
