Entry Requirements

Postgraduate diploma (or higher) Students need the original of the Graduate Diploma. The institution which has issued the diploma must be recognised by the Council of Higher Education in Turkey. The student is responsible for making sure that the institution is recognised in Turkey. For that the student can apply for the recognition in the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic and attach the proof of recognision to the application. If the student does no apply for the recognition then Dogus University will send the institution information to the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic for the recognition. In case the institution will not pass the recognition the students registration will be cancelled. The originals of the entry qualification documents must be taken along when student comes for registration to the university.

English Program Requirements

Turkish English PhD students accepted to a program taught in Turkish still have to prove their proficiency in English before they can start their academic studies. International students who are unable to submit the required English language test scores during their application can take the Dogus University English Proficiency Test upon arrival. Students who fail the test can start their studies as an irregular student. After one year they have to prove their English level again. Irregular students can not apply for the residence permit. Test scores for general English proficiency: TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language / Internet-based) 72 CAE (Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English) C Pearson PTE Akademik (Pearson Test of English) 55 Dogus University Proficiency Test 60/100.

Fee Information

Tuition fees for international students are collected on yearly basis. Alternatively, deferred payment plan can be offered to a Turkish citizen parent by the banks we have contract with. Students who prefer this method must contact a branch of TÜRK EKONOMİ BANKASI (TEB), YAPI KREDİ BANKASI (YKB) or DENİZBANK together with the parent. Students who prefer to make a deferred payment by credit card can register through virtual POS with by using one of the contracted credit cards or on condition that the limits are not exceeded at our Dudullu or Çengelköy Campuses. (Bonus, World, Maximum, Paraf, Card Finans, Combo) 10 equal instalments are offered for deferred payments. The tuitions are for 2021-2022 Academic Year, amounting to a 1-year education fee.
