About Bachelor of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design

The Division of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts has begun four-year mainstream education since 1985/1986 academic year. The language of instruction is Turkish. The foreign language proficiency exam is not obligatory for the students accepted to the Division. The main aim of the Division of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is to raise qualified interior architects, who can not only be able to develop designs, integrating form and function based on scientifical and artistical means, but also can systematise these designs by creating contemporary and innovative solutions in order to improve the awareness about interior desing in the society of our country. For this reason, the students have an internship in the 6th and 8th semester of their education in order to transform their theoretical knowledge on interior architecture into skills and to develop their knowledge and skills by practising.

Entry Requirements

To enter the Undergraduate Program, it is required to finish secondary education or get an equivalent education abroad and receive sufficent score of TM-1 in the national student placement exam (http://www.osym.gov.tr, http://www.oid.hacettepe.edu.tr).
